How do I upload files to my web site?
Use your FTP program to connect to yourdomain.com.au and then log on using your account username and password. If your domain delegation has not yet gone through, you can upload your files to 210.55.105.251/yourdomain.com.au. The root directory for files visible on the web is public_html.

What is the address of my web site?
Your web site can be reached at either http://yourdomain.com.au or http://www.yourdomain.com.au. If your domain delegation has not gone through, you can still preview your web site at http://210.55.105.251/yourdomain.com.au.

How do I collect my email?
You will have been given a username and password for each of your email (POP) boxes. Enter these into your email client and list the incoming (POP) server as pop.scribblygum.net and the outgoing (SMTP) server as that given to you by your internet service provider.

How do I view my site statistics?
Your site statistics are online at http://yourdomain.com.au/stats/. If you would like to password protect access to them, just let us know.

What platform do you host on?
All our web sites are hosted on Linux/Apache.

Where do I put my CGI scripts?
CGI scripts can go anywhere in the document root (under public_html). Create a directory called cgibin (not cgi-bin) in public_html for your scripts and they will be available on the web as http://yourdomain.com.au/cgibin/scriptname. Set the permissions for the scripts to 755.

Where is perl?
/usr/bin/perl

Where is sendmail?
/usr/bin/sendmail

What version of PHP are you running?
PHP4.

Where are your servers physically located?
Our web servers are located in New Zealand and are not charged for traffic. This allows us to provide fast and economical web service for our clients in Australia and New Zealand.

Do you host adult, mp3 or warez sites?
No.

What if I decide to move my web site to another host?
Any remaining portion of your annual hosting fee will be refunded. Your set up fee is non-refundable.
